A simple modern homage to Mr Warhols ‘Marilyn Diptych.’

What started off as a simple joke at work, soon turned into a very tempting ‘what if?’ The helmet of the much loved Halo character Master Chief is an asset that we’re currently using in some staff related work – can’t give much away yet but will feature the finished artowork in the coming weeks. Anyway, at the end of the asset creation process, I couldn’t help wondering what some colour would do the artwork and “Snap!” a little red, green and blue and it had just come to life. I know it’s a shameless re-interpretation of Andy’s much more iconic homage to Marilyn Munroe but what is the purpose of art, if not to entertain? to provoke new thoughts? to inspire new imaginings? – I’ll leave that question to you. =)
