A nice video by google showcasing the ‘making of’ their new Nexus One.

Can’t say I’m a huge fan of the phone or features but I do however like their visual treatment through this video. I’ve noticed a few google videos now that embrace this ‘conceptual’ approach to visual presentations. This rough & raw style is very effective and gives their videos a relaxed & casual feel all the while making their key technical messages easy to digest.

I’d love to see this style married to apple’s clean, minimal approach to their product videos! =)

So……….am guessing this is your next phone homie ?? looks sweet , but too much tech for a standard phone user to appreciate i’m thinking , but price would put that out of reach for that to happen.

From Latin nexus (“‘the act of binding together; bond’”), from nectō (“‘bind’”). had too look it up to check out the meaning and how it applied :)

Actually G, I’m still quite chuffed with my 3gs! The nexus looks nice but functionally, I don’t think the os can compete with the iphones. I saw an early video a while back of the iphone vs nexus vs another smartphone in a page load test and the iphone creamed both the other phones hands down. Apples recipe so far for the iphone has been a world beater and as long as they can keep those 7 herbs and spices a secret, I think they’ll stay on top! =)
